Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) technology is a crucial innovation offering convenience and advancements across various fields. Similarly, electric vehicles (EVs) provide a sustainable solution to reduce pollution. The adoption of EVs depends on factors such as charging duration, accessibility to stations, and safety concerns. While conductive charging remains the dominant method, especially with the advantages of DC fast chargers, wireless charging is emerging as a flexible and convenient alternative, reducing dependence on physical wires. This review covers the fundamentals of WPT technology, various EV charging solutions, and the development of wireless EV charging.
