WCN23-1108 PREVALENCE AND DETERMINANTS OF UNDERNUTRITION IN HEMODIALYSIS PATIENTS, IN KINSHASA, THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF THE CONGO

Abstract

Knowledge of the factors associated with undernutrition in chronic hemodialysis (HD) patients is essential for proper prevention of this nosological entity. These factors could be different from one region to another due to cultural reasons and/or lack of resources. This study aimed to determine the prevalence of undernutrition and to investigate the associated factors.
