Abstract

oxidative stress and reduces endothelial nitric oxide (NO) bioavailability and stimulates the intracellular renin-angiotensin system. Conclusions: Complex family history can help in connecting symptoms and physical signs but can be challenging as well when evidence is lacking, in this patient due to lack of genetic confirmation his condition was labelled as idiopathic hyperuricemia rather than Lesch Nyhan syndrome despite he is showing other syndromic features, other investigations excluded Marfan syndrome as well.lt could be logical to keep a low threshold to resume allopurinol in this patient for cardiac protection.
