Two-dimensional wavelets collocation method for time-space fractional Schrödinger system

Abstract

<title>Abstract</title> This paper proposes a wavelet method to obtain a numerical solution to the time-space fractional Schrödinger equation. With Caputo fractional derivatives, two dimensional Legendre wavelets and their operational matrix with the collocation method are utilized to solve the coupled nonlinear time-space fractional Schrödinger system. Convergence and error analysis of the proposed method are discussed, and two illustrative examples are presented to demonstrate the simplicity and high accuracy of the proposed techniques.
