Thermodynamics of Bardeen black holes in restricted phase space

Abstract

In this paper, we investigate the thermodynamics of Bardeen black holes within the framework of Restricted Phase Space (RPS) thermodynamics. Building upon the holographic interpretation of black hole thermodynamics, we derive key thermodynamic quantities, including mass, temperature and entropy, to analyze the phase structure and stability of these regular black holes. Our results reveal that phase transitions and stability characteristics of Bardeen black holes bear a striking resemblance to those of Reissner-Nordström anti-de Sitter (RN-AdS) black holes, indicating that the presence of singularities does not significantly alter their thermodynamic behavior. Additionally, we introduce a novel equation of state that underscores the role of magnetic charge, entropy and the central charge in determining the thermal evolution of these black holes. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of black hole thermodynamics in the context of non-singular spacetime.
