The Virtual Laboratories in Education System : A Bibliometric Review

Abstract

This research conducts a bibliometric analysis to outline the structure of virtual laboratory research in educational systems, employing various software tools such as NVIVO, SPSS Statistics, and VOSViewer. Data obtained from SCOPUS was examined to evaluate essential metrics, including publication volume, prominent authors, institutional affiliations, document trends, and keyword patterns. A total of 1,040 publications were analyzed, revealing significant contributors, collaborative networks, and dominant research areas in the field. The results provide a thorough summary of the current research, highlighting influential studies and emerging trends, and offer a robust basis for directing future investigations and promoting academic collaboration.
