Reproduction in living organisms is an important means for the continuation of life and the transmission of genetic traits between generations and their preservation from disappearance, especially those good genetic traits. The importance of biological diversity is due to the strength of different ecosystems. Biodiversity is represented in three forms: the multiplicity of living species, the diversity of genetic structures, and the multiplicity of ecosystems. Genetic diversity is one of the components of biological diversity in plants through sexual reproduction among individuals of the same species, and this is Genetic crossing between genes produces individuals with multiple genotypes. Asexual reproduction does not achieve genetic diversity, as the individuals resulting from this reproduction carry identical genetic structures to the original, thus not achieving the targeted biodiversity. Different ecosystems also support biodiversity, and the diversity of individuals within communities supports the stability of the biosphere and achieves sustainability on planet Earth.
