Climate change poses a rapidly developing catastrophic challenge globally, regionally, and nationally, with different impacts on women and men. Due to limited resource access and the inability to cope with women being the most vulnerable group, especially in developing countries. Women households in Ethiopia have experience limited access and control over essential resources compared to male households. A longitudinal design and NASA temperature data from 1982 to 2020 were used to assess the trends of temperature in the study area. Quantitative and qualitative research approaches were employed, with R software for quantitative data analysis and empirical articles for qualitative analysis. Mann-Kendall trend test with a significance level of p<0.05 was used to determine temperature trends and their statistical significance. This study the mean annual maximum temperature found 36.5°C–32.02°C. The study found a significant association between January, February, March, April, September, October, November, and ANN in the north Mecha Districts (p<0.05). A systematic review showed that women are more vulnerable to the effects of climate change than men. Systematic review found that males have a significant effect on climate change adaptation, while women are more vulnerable. Gender issues must be considered in climate change adaptation strategies.
