Ticks and the diseases they transmit pose a threat to livestock in Cameroon and the Adamawa region. This study conducted from January to July 2023 to evaluate the diversity and the prevalence of ticks that circulate at the livestock cattle of Dang, Tikke, Nyambaka Centre, Nyambaka Dibi, Tello markets in the Vina Division counted 5273 adult ticks on 1200 cattle and identified 09 species belonging to four genera (Amblyomma, Hyalomma, Rhipicephalus, and Rh. Boophilus). Among these parasites, Bo. Microplus (A=52.33%) and Am. variegatum (A=38.45%) are more abundant than Hy. marginatum (A=1.33%), Hy. truncatum (A=0.64%), Rh. appendiculatus (A=1.59%), Rh. lunulatus (A=0.61%), Rh. sanguineus (A=0.32%), Bo. decoloratus (A=3.96%), Bo. annulatus (A=0.32%). Their frequency varies between 44.44% (4/9 ticks) in Dang and 88.89% (8/9 species) in Nyambaka-Centre.
