This paper evaluates the positive gain of inserting constellation rotation into a DAB+ (Digital Audio Broadcasting) transmission chain. For this, we implemented the DAB+ transmission and reception chain in the MATLAB simulation software. The signals are transmitted through a Rayleigh channel. In turn, we simulated the DAB+ transmission chain with a standard QPSK modulation format and then the DAB+ transmission chain by integrating the constellation rotation added to the cyclic shift on the QPSK modulation. We subsequently evaluated the Binary Error Rate (BER) as a function of the Signalto-Noise Ratio (SNR). From our simulations, we noticed that for a target BER of <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">${{10}^{ - 3}}$</tex>, the link without Constellation Rotation has an SNR of 13.9 dB while the link with Constellation Rotation has an SNR of 7.9 dB . The introduction of constellation rotation therefore allowed a power gain of 6 dB for the simulation channel used.
