Stability result of the Kawahara equation with localized damping and time-varying delay

20242 citationsOpen accessChouaib Doukkali University

Abstract

The current paper investigates the question of stabilizability of the Kawahara equation with time-varying delay in the internal feedback. Under specific assumptions regarding the time-varying delay, we establish that the studied system is well-posed. Moreover, using an appropriate Lyapunov functional, we prove the exponential stability result. Finally, we present some conclusions.
