Agriculture extension services are essential pillars of Egypt’s agriculture sector. Extension workers is the primary provider of these services. However, due to a decrease in the number of extension workers, most farmers have not been receiving recommendations, resulting in a decrease in crop yields. Small-scale/smallholder farmers with limited financial capacity have been the most affected. This paper describes the Smart Agriculture Clinic (SAC), which has capitalized on recent advances in artificial intelligence, deep learning, and big data technologies, as well as the ubiquity and spread of cellular network-based services and devices. SAC is a fully operational and practical Integrated Smart Agriculture Clinic that provides digital agriculture extension to thousands of farmers.
