, which colonized the urine of a 56-year-old immunocompetent woman with no medical history and no urinary symptoms. The patient was admitted for prosthetic surgery on the left hip for advanced ankylosing osteoarthritis. Preoperative treatment with Imipinem eradicated the bacteria.
