Abstract

D-Hepatoprotective Effect of Green Tea (Camellia sinensis) Extract against Tamoxifen-induced Liver Injury in RatsConcerning the phytochemical results, …no in-depth fractionation of the extract was done!?Although the results of the phytochemical screening showed phenolic and flavonoid content in addition to alkaloids, An irrelevant GC-MS analysis was done on the whole crude methanol extract with the aim to prove which concept!!!???It is not the suitable analysis for any of the detected class of compounds.A more logical HPLC analysis of the phenolic content could have been done, or even an LC-MS analysis for the detection of a wider range of phytoconstituents.
