Review of: "Rates and Reasons for Relapse of Pulmonary Tuberculosis in Adults — “Case of the MUYA Urban Health Zone”"

Abstract

Potential competing interests: No potential competing interests to declare.The authors set out "to reducing the rate of tuberculosis relapse among adults in the MUYA Urban Health Zone."They collected information from 143 patients only once through the structured questionnaire.They found that the relapse with tuberculosis represented a rate of 38%.Variables such as age, being able to make ends meet with one's income, and unbalanced diet have a statistically significant relationship with relapse to tuberculosis.Anyway, the manuscript can be improved in the following ways: ABSTRACT I. Introduction part: Please include background information about TB relapse II.Methodology: It is very poor.It is better if it includes the sampling technique, data entry, and data analysis methods III.Results: It is ok.But abbreviations (BCT, BBT) in the abstract are not advisable.IV. Conclusion: It is poor.The conclusion should be consistent with the objective and your results.For example, your conclusion stated TB linked poverty and HIV, but your title is focusing on TB relapse and their reasons.
