POS-423 URINARY ABNORMALITIES AMONG SCHOOL CHILDREN LIVING IN URBAN AND RURAL AREAS OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO

Abstract

Urinary screening is a useful and inexpensive tool for the early detection of kidney diseases in asymptomatic children. This might contribute to the prevention of chronic kidney disease (CKD) later in life.This study aimed to determine the prevalence of urinary abnormalities among school children living in urban and rural areas of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
