Adolescents view sexual and reproductive health role models as important mentors who impact their choices and behaviours as they grow into adulthood. It is essential to improve the sexual and reproductive health outcomes of adolescents through incorporating role modelling in families, schools, the media and communities at large.Contribution: This study contributes to the paucity of knowledge and literature about adolescents' sexual and reproductive health role modelling.
