New Model to Monitor Plant Growth Remotely using ESP32-CAM and Mobile Application

Abstract

Agriculture plays an important role in the country’s economic growth. The main goal of using smart solutions based on the Internet of Things (IOT), drone surveillance and others is to increase productivity and reduce the workload of farmers. In this paper we will develop a new model that uses the ESP32-CAM, OV2640 camera module, a solar panel and a mobile application to monitor plant growth in agricultural fields. This new model will help farmers control the situation of plants in their agricultural fields remotely because it is connected to the internet. The use of this new model in the agricultural field will improve existing solutions and can replace the use of drones in the agricultural field.
