Abstract

Mobile health (mHealth) applications offer a transformative approach to disease management, particularly in rural areas where healthcare resources are often limited. This systematic review explores the role of mHealth applications in enhancing disease management in rural settings, focusing on their effectiveness, challenges, and potential benefits. The review systematically assesses the literature on mHealth applications designed for disease management in rural areas, highlighting key findings from various studies. The review reveals that mHealth applications can significantly improve access to healthcare services, enable remote monitoring, and facilitate timely interventions.
