review
This study presents a literature review aimed at informing strategies for reducing non-quality costs in production chains. The main objective is to synthesize existing research to provide information on principles, methodologies, and best practices used in quality optimization and cost reduction. A systematic review approach was adopted to identify relevant work in scientific journals and academic databases. Key terms such as quality, cost, optimization, and reduction were used to ensure the completeness of the review. The selected articles were analyzed to extract relevant information on strategies, techniques, and outcomes associated with the reduction of non-quality costs. This literature review reveals many approaches and methodologies used by organizations to mitigate non-quality costs and improve operational efficiency. Key results include the importance of a holistic approach to quality optimization, including many proactive measures like supply chain management, Lean, and Six Sigma. The article also highlights the importance of organizational culture, leadership commitment, and employee involvement in continuous improvement efforts to reduce costs and improve quality. The review contributes to existing knowledge by synthesizing various research results and presenting a coherent framework to understand the reduction of non-quality costs. By identifying emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities in quality management and cost optimization, this study provides valuable information for academics, practitioners, and decision-makers seeking to improve the performance and competitiveness of organizations in a dynamic business environment.
