Message from Conference General Chair

Abstract

I am privileged to be the General chair of this important conference and have witnessed an increased interest in Emerging Trends in Networks and Computer Communications researchers. The 2024 International Conference on Emerging Trends in Networks and Computer Communications (ETNCC), organised by the UNESCO Chair on Secure High-performance Computing for Higher Education and Research at Namibia University of Science and Technology, demonstrates a research-driven academic community addressing societal needs through technology solutions. The conference has enabled the nation to partner with the IEEE South Africa section and is supported by IEEE Region 8 in creating a vibrant atmosphere, uniting over 300 attendees from academic, research, and industries. Together, they showcase their latest research and technological advancements as well as discuss collaboratively reinventing HPC, cybersecurity, cloud computing, machine learning, the internet of things, automation, data science and smart communication.
