Measuring Educational Stakeholders' Preference for Remote Proctored Examinations in Higher Education Institutions

Abstract

A survey instrument was administered via a Google Form and participants were recruited from both within and outside the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) community in Nigeria, using an invitation link that was embedded in an email. The survey was also shared with key distance education forums established by some other universities via a secure and confidential email that included a unique link to the questionnaire. Participants were asked to complete the questionnaire within a specified time frame. The questionnaire consisted of both closed-ended and open-ended questions and was designed to gather information about the stakeholders' experiences and opinions regarding remote proctored exams. However, only 197 responses were received.
