Master Production Scheduling Factors Effecting Blood Collection Performance: Smart PLS-SEM Analysis

Abstract

Objective: This study aimed to investigate relationship between master production scheduling factors and blood collection performance within a complex blood supply chain. Methods: A self-administered questionnaire was employed to gather data from randomly selected blood bank participants. Smart PLS-SEM tool was used in the analysis. Results: The findings indicated that master production scheduling factors have a considerable and positive influence on blood collection performance. Conclusion: The improvement of blood collection performance is supported by master production scheduling. Consequently, it is advisable to prioritize blood collection site layout, repeat blood donor screening, and flexible transport means in order to achieve better blood collection performance.
