Integrating Geographical Information Systems tools into health mapping in Botswana can be of great importance in the total control of malaria. The present study aimed to provide a leading role in GIS based decision-making. The inputs were derived from topographic, climatic, and physical factors that drive the survival of malaria causing mosquitoes. The results show that a very high-risk area of malaria is found in the North-West District and the Central District, with 80.1% and 19.9%, respectively. The findings of this study can provide an early warning system and aid in total control of the vector-borne disease, which can prevent future malaria catastrophes.
