Low Cost Baby Incubator With Temperature; Humidity Controlling And Beat-To-Beat Fetal Heart Rate Analysis Using Gsm Technology And Esp 32 Board.

Abstract

An infant incubator is a device that maintains a constant level of temperature, relative humidity and light as in the woman's uterine environment in order to allow the premature baby to continue its growth without problems. Babies born prematurely at less than 37 weeks’ gestation have a higher risk of death and difficulty adapting outside the womb due to immaturity of the organ system. Constant monitoring of the condition of premature babies inside the baby incubator is very necessary. This tool remains poorly accessible in the majority of health facilities in third world countries; and the can they have are obsolete and in poor working order. The development of servo and regulation technologies through the proliferation of numerous microcontroller cards equipped with numerous functionalities has favored the improvement of this tool essential to the survival of many children. Our objective is to use recent processes to design an intelligent coverer which, in addition to the main punctures, will be able to communicate in real time with clinicians’ other vital parameters in order to allow rapid treatment and save the infant's life. Our device is designed around an Esp 32 Wroom card; temperature and humidity sensors; oxygen saturation, and detection of the infant's heart rate to transmit them in risky situations, to nurses using the alarm system and in the form of SMS through a GSM module and an LCD display. At the same time, the buzzer alarm sounds for temperatures below 36°C and above 37°C, thus sending the alert messages to the doctor through the GSM module. Cardiac vital data is sent every 2 minutes through the same channel; all this data is then updated in real time on the LCD display.
