review
The Internet of Things (IoT) changes our ability to connect and interact with the physical world by integrating different objects into the internet. By all the many Low Power Wide Area network (LPWAN) technologies, LoRa (Long-Range Radio) stands out for its long-range capabilities, low power consumption, and robustness that’s why it becomes a crucial component in cost-effective IoT applications such as smart cities, smart homes, smart factories, and smart farming. The purpose of this article is to present an overview of the LPWAN technology especially the LoRa by covering the characteristics, the challenges, and existing strategies.
