Recent global socioeconomic crises have encouraged an increased awareness of the importance of resilient supply chains. Therefore, ensuring resilience is essential to support growth and promote development, as it allows supply chains to successfully adjust and preserve operating stability when faced with interruptions. In this context, one of the most effective tools for improving supply chain resilience is artificial intelligence by enabling predictive analysis, automation, and real-time decision-making. This article explores AI's possibilities to improve SCRES. In response, we perform a systematic literature review of supply chain AI research published in Web of Science in order to choose and synthesize the body of knowledge. By expanding the theoretical discussion on all aspects of AI, the research adds to the corpus of knowledge enabling supply chain resilience and proposes a research roadmap to guide future investigations in this field.
