Abstract

A qualitative study adopting a hermeneutic phenomenological approach using Van Manen’s method was carried out to explore the professional and ethical values guiding the practice of midwives in rural and remote areas of northern Morocco. In-depth semi-structured interviews were conducted with fifteen midwives. The results highlight their strong commitment to professional and ethical values.
