ABSTRACT Abdominoperineal resection (APR) is a popular surgical method for rectal malignancies, offering benefits such as reduced blood loss and faster recovery. However, its application in low‐resource settings is challenging due to limited access to advanced laparoscopic equipment. This case report points out a successful laparoscopic management of a case of low rectal tumor in a resource‐limited setting.
