Objective: To investigate the correlation of chronic non-specific neck pain (CNSNP) with the wrist extensor and flexor peak torque/body weight either at 60°/sec or 180°/sec in patients with chronic non-specific neck pain. Methods: An observational cross-sectional study for forty-five participants (26 males and 19 females) aged 18-23 years old randomly assigned into two groups group A (normal) group B (students with neck pain). All subjects assessed with isokinetic dynamometer of the peak torque/body weight of wrist extensors and flexors at different speeds (60⁰/s and 180⁰/s). Results: There was non-significant between in peak torque/body weight of concentric wrist extensors and flexors at 60⁰/s and 180⁰/s (P>0.05).The mean values ± SD of peak torque/body weight of wrist flexion at (60 and 180°/sec) for subjects in B (students with neck pain) (11.64 ± 3.1 and 8.6 ± 3.4) % respectively and for wrist extension at (60 and 180°/sec) (12.79 ± 3.2 and 11.45 ± 3.9) % respectively.Conclusion: There was no significant difference between control group and experimental group with chronic non-specific neck pain in wrist extensor and flexor peak torque/body weight at angular velocities of 60⁰/s and 180⁰/s.
