Influence of Nanobiofertilizer on Plant Yield and Growth

Abstract

Nanotechnology is a cutting-edge technology that is quickly emerging in the twenty-first century. Climate disasters caused by human or natural action have a devastating impact on global agriculture productivity. Synthetic fertilizers have a major role in modern crop systems’ ability to provide vital nutrients. Prolonged use of these compounds, however, may be detrimental to soil fertility, the ecology, and the feeding dynamics of rhizospheric microorganisms. Because of the population increase, physicochemical nano-dimensional fertilizers have limitations that can be addressed by combining nanoparticles and biofertilizers using nanobiofertilizers (NBFs) to safeguard global food security. Biofertilizers and nanoparticles are injected into plants to enhance their growth and stress tolerance. Both environmentally and commercially, they are sustainable. Microbe-based nutrient-rich biomass, which is made up of bacteria, yeast, and fungi, provides nutrients and other necessary elements for robust growth and energy in plants. It also contains organic and inorganic molecules.
