In conclusion, the results indicate significant differences in the fungal community between ecoregions and soil invertebrates. Moreover, mycotoxin detection and identification among <i>Aspergillus</i> isolates were elucidated. This study could shed light on the risk of mycotoxin contamination along the supply chain.
