The research site is situated in Ain Dalla, a region in the Western Desert of Egypt. It is situated between the latitudes 27° and 28°N and the longitudes 27°and 28°E. The basement depth acts as the fundamental basis for area planning, and this investigation utilized gravity and magnetic data to map out subsurface structures, including structural elements and basins. Basins include aquifers that contain either hydrocarbon or water. The data from both magnetic and gravitational sources has been analyzed using Oasis Montaj. The magnetic ground data underwent various analytical approaches including Euler solution, structural interpretation, low & high pass filtering, tilt derivatives, & reductions to the North Pole. A relief basement map was created by employing two-dimensional magnetic & gravity modeling techniques. The basement rocks at the research area are located at a depth ranging from 4000 to 10400 meters below the surface. Two-dimensional modeling has been utilized to calculate the depth.to the Conorad and Moho surfaces which lie at depths from 14000–26000m for Conorad surface and from 28000-42000m for moho surface.
