Genome-grounded targetability atlas of mobilome-directed AMR-reversal strategies (reproducibility deposit)

2026Open accessLagos State University

Abstract

Reproducibility materials for the article "Targeting the vehicle, not the gene: a genome-grounded prioritisation of mobilome-directed strategies for reversing antimicrobial resistance". The deposit contains the pinned derived analysis tables (overall, by-host-genus and by-resistance-class plasmid targetability with Wilson 95% confidence intervals, vehicle-handle co-occurrence, predicted mobility, the prevalence-weighted prioritisation model, and the 30-study structured evidence screen); a script (run_targetability.py) that derives every table byte-for-byte from the raw PLSDB tables; a script (reproduce.py) that independently recomputes every value reported in the paper and regenerates the quantitative figures (Figures 4-7, S1-S3); and full provenance documenting the derivation from PLSDB release 2024_05_31 (Figshare DOI 10.6084/m9.figshare.27222951.v1) using MOB-typer 3.1.8 and AMRFinderPlus 3.12.8 / RGI 6.0.3 (CARD 3.2.9) via hAMRonization 1.1.4, over a cohort of 29,758 acquired-resistance plasmids. Code is MIT-licensed; the derived data tables are CC-BY-4.0.
