Fixed-point results connected to fuzzy F-contraction and simulation functions with application

Abstract

In this paper, we establish a novel type of fuzzy contraction principle through the concepts of fuzzy F-contractions and fuzzy simulation functions and we prove the existence and uniqueness of a fixed point for a self-mapping in complete fuzzy metric spaces by the newly developed contraction. The utility of our findings is further demonstrated by an example, an application to fractional calculus, and some illustrated remarks. The results presented unify, generalize, and enhance a variety of existing research findings in the literature.
