Facile synthesis of TiO<sub>2</sub>–carbon composite doped nitrogen for efficient photodegradation of noxious methylene blue dye

Abstract

The present work demonstrates that the introduction of a nitrogen-doped carbon framework, synthesized through a sol-hydrothermal method, significantly enhances the photocatalytic degradation behavior of TiO 2 towards methylene blue (MB).
