Abstract

The 5-bromo-<i>N</i>-alkylthiophene-2-sulfonamides displayed antibacterial efficacy against New Delhi Metallo-<i>β</i>-lactamase producing <i>Klebsiella pneumoniae</i> ST147. After the in-vivo trial, this substance might offer an alternative therapeutic option.
