The study aims to explore a modern and innovative method of constructing parapet roofs that can address issues, such as dampness, commonly found in traditional methods. The data was collected through observations, survey questions, and a case study approach. The information gathered during the study was analysed using content analysis and descriptive statistics. The study identified four key areas of construction: the use of a mono roof pitch, dampness prevention methods, roof gutters, and the usage of blocks and concrete for parapet walls. The study recommends the best modern method of parapet roof construction for building experts. Building experts should pay diligent attention to the roof details and construction and supervise parapet roof construction to improve the aesthetics, durability, and cost savings for future maintenance. This study contributes to the innovative methods of roof construction that can be used in the future.
