Abstract

The current scoping review aims to reveal evidence of changing epidemiology, clinical management, public health response, and persistent challenges of Ebola virus disease in humans from the 2014 West Africa outbreak to 2026. Amid the ongong Bundibuyo ebola virus outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo in 2026. This review focus to provide lessons from past Ebola responses—including rapid countermeasure deployment, community engagement, and strengthening of health systems—provide important insights for broader pandemic preparedness in the future
