Enhancing Logistics Performance Through Supply Chain Collaboration and Resilience: A Conceptual Model

Abstract

This conceptual paper proposes a theory-driven model that examines the influence of supply chain collaboration on logistics performance, with resilience as a mediating capability and environmental uncertainty as a moderating factor. Drawing on the Resource-Based View (RBV), the Relational View and the Dynamic Capabilities Theory (DCT), the model conceptualizes resilience not as a static attribute but as a dynamic construct that translates collaborative practices into improved logistics outcomes. The study addresses the conditional nature of the impact of collaboration by incorporating contextual sensitivity through environmental volatility. By synthesizing existing literature and proposing testable hypotheses, this paper contributes to contingency-based supply chain theory and offers practical insights for firms seeking to build agile, disruption- ready logistics systems.
