This research investigates the integration of Internet of Things (IoT) devices into an Energy Management System (EMS) for greenhouses, aiming to optimize energy consumption and maintain ideal conditions for plant growth. The developed IoT-based EMS utilizing smart sensors, actuators, and a fuzzy logic controller to monitor temperature, humidity, and light intensity. Functionality tests showed the system achieved 99.6% accuracy in regulating lighting. Real-world case studies validated the methodologies, demonstrating the practical benefits of IoT in energy management. The research also identified limitations, such as interoperability and data security concerns. Future work should enhance interoperability through standardized protocols, improve cybersecurity, and incorporate predictive analytics. This study underscores IoT's potential in promoting sustainable agricultural practices that benefit both the environment and the agricultural sector.
