Electron dose point kernels in water computed with GATE 10 on Geant4 11.3.2: result tables for a study of the production cut

Abstract

Result tables underlying the article "Sensitivity of Monte Carlo electron dose point kernels to the Geant4 production cut: a discontinuity near 1.1 keV confined to G4EmStandardPhysics_option4". The dataset covers 196 simulation runs of an electron dose point kernel in water, computed with GATE 10 on Geant4 11.3.2 and compared with an EGSnrc reference. It contains twenty result tables in CSV format and one JSON file per run holding the shell-by-shell deposited energy, the configuration parameters and the computation time. Every figure and every quantitative statement in the article is derived from these tables. Each table carries a header block stating what it contains and the conventions needed to read it: comparison domain, averaging convention and denominator. These conventions are not uniform across the dataset, so the header of a table should be read before its values are used. Sources are monoenergetic electrons at 0.05, 0.1, 0.5, 1 and 3 MeV and the beta spectra of 177Lu and 90Y from ICRP Publication 107. Energy is scored in sixty concentric shells out to 1.2 R0, each evaluated at the radius that preserves the integral of the kernel. The reference is EGSnrc, edknrc user code, PEGS4 dataset 521icru. MD5 checksums are provided for every file.
