Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence: A New Horizon for Higher Education Effectiveness

Abstract

Digital transformation, with the integration of artificial intelligence (AI), is redefining the effectiveness of higher education in Morocco. Technological advances, such as AI and the Internet of Things, offer significant opportunities to personalize learning, optimize educational processes, and improve the operational efficiency of academic institutions. These technologies make it possible to tailor educational content to students' individual needs, improving their engagement and academic results. They also facilitate resource management and the automation of administrative tasks, freeing up time for teachers and administrators to concentrate on higher value-added activities. Research shows that digitization and AI also foster increased competition between higher education institutions, encouraging them to constantly innovate to offer high-quality programs and enriching learning experiences. In this way, AI and digitization play a crucial role as internal agents of change, transforming the way academic institutions operate and interact with their students and setting new standards for higher education in Morocco.
