The study developed a modular automated cooling system to improve solar panel efficiency by managing operating temperatures. The system uses a water-based mechanism and sensors to monitor temperature and activate the cooling process when it exceeds a set point (300C). Experimental testing showed that the system reduced panel temperature from 36oC to 30oC and resulted in a measured increase in power output from 6.71 W to 6.83W, corresponding to an approximate 1.8% improvement in electrical power under the tested conditions. For future investigations, the study suggested the use of cutting-edge materials and intelligent technologies, along with prolonged field studies, to evaluate the system’s functionality and economic viability for widespread use.
