Control of a nonlinear dynamic system by backstepping: numerical simulation and modelling using electronic circuits

20251 citationOpen accessUniversité Moulay Ismail de Meknes

Abstract

In this paper, an extensive study of the phenomenon of chaos in a nonlinear dynamic system is presented. Numerical simulations were carried out using the 4th-order Runge-Kutta numerical method in Scilab, with electronic modeling implemented in NI Multisim. System control (synchronization) was carried out using the Backstepping method and implemented via an electronic circuit. Synchronization was perfectly achieved after a transient phase. The simulation results obtained using the Runge-Kutta 4th-order numerical method are in good agreement with the results of the electronic modeling in NI Multisim.
