Construction of intelligent bio-PCM Matrix for Cotton Fabrics to Improve Thermal Comfortability and Human Protection

Abstract

PCMs are commonly used in thermal energy storage systems for solar engineering, building materials, spacecraft, and textile industries, particularly smart and technical textiles. Researchers are interested in the numerous organic and inorganic PCMs that have a broad range of melting and solidifying temperatures due to their potential uses in various industries. This review describes PCM, its working principle with textile , and the applications of PCM incorporated textiles.
