The prospective uses of nature-based nanoparticles in agriculture, environmental cleanup energy conversion and storage are attracting attention. This work investigates the effects of different mixing ratios of Ag2O mediated banana stem (BS) and sweet potato peel (PP) extracts for energy storage electrode material, whereas previous research has concentrated on single natural materials for creating supercapacitor electrodes. With an XRD pattern indicating a preferred orientation at 2θ = 33.45° (corresponding to the (220) plane) and a particle size of 15.45 nm, the fabricated supercapacitor electrodes demonstrated optimal properties. The specific surface area and pore volume both increased with increasing mixing ratios. The optimized sample showed the maximum specific capacitance of 510.06 F g − 1 at 5 m V s − 1 , according to the cyclic voltammetry (CV) analysis. Galvanostatic charge-discharge (GCD) experiments also demonstrated the efficacy of the optimized electrode for supercapacitor applications by confirming superior specific and discharge capacitance coupled with considerable stability within randomized values of 1 to 0.91. • BS and PP - mediated Silver NPs were synthesized at various ratios. • The SEM analysis showed particle sizes of ranges from 15.45 to 69.88 nm. • The energy band gaps ranges from 2.34 eV to 2.59 eV. • The ranges of specific surface area and pore volume were 263.10 to 442.10 m 2 g − 1 and 0.1288 to 0.2177 c c g − 1 , respectively. • The optimized electrode offered the highest specific capacitance of 510.06 F/g at 0.5 A/g F g − 1 .
