Abstract This work investigates the critical formation conditions of a dusty plasma sheath, including the dust charge at the edge, the Bohm criterion, and the floating potential, in the presence of non-extensive electrons, positive ions, and dynamically charged dust under an external magnetic field. A one-dimensional fluid model is employed, where the dust charge is calculated using the orbital motion limited (OML) theory, the Bohm criteria for ions and dust are derived from the Sagdeev potential, and the floating potential at the wall is determined from the flux balance of the sheath species. The aim of this study is to provide a deeper understanding of the formation mechanisms of complex plasma sheaths. The results reveal the significant influence of various physical parameters; such as the non-extensive parameter q , the magnetic field inclination angle θ , the ion density ratio δ i , and the dust radius r d , on the dust charge Q d0 , the Bohm criteria of ions M ic and dust M dc , and the floating potential η w .
