Beamforming Techniques for High-Capacity Wireless Networks

Abstract

This research paper presents a comparative study of analog, digital and hybrid beamforming techniques applied to two different antenna array architectures designed to operate at 143.7 GHz, a key frequency band for 5G/6G wireless communication systems. Using CST Microwave Studio, we simulated and analyzed the performance of these antenna arrays and showed the impact of different beamforming approaches on key metrics such as gain, sidelobe level and beamwidth
