This dataset comprises findings from interviews and discussions conducted with community members who either owned a dog or belonged to households that owned one. Key informants included stakeholders with relevant experience, expertise, and influence in dog bite case management and dog vaccination. The study was carried out in a rural district and provides insights into the perspectives of residents living in both peri-urban (rural–urban) and fully rural areas.
